Scary Movies from the Peanut Gallery

Scary movies. I have a love/hate relationship with them. I'll watch them only if I can hide my face in a pillow (or Jus's arm) during the scary parts. Even the dumbest movies give me the heebie-geebies. After watching "the Grudge" a few years ago, bathtubs full of water still freak me out today. (What if there's a little Asian boy in there somewhere?) So, yes, I'm a baby.

That being said, there's this old b/w movie called "The Bad Seed" about a 10 year old girl that is really a psychopathic killer. Awesome. Jus has been wanting to watch it all season, so we finally did just recently. There was nothing scary about it; No dead people roaming the halls howling to be avenged or anything like that. The movie was just really intense. By the end, all of us watching were a bit stressed out. Its one of those kinds of movies. In an attempt to make everyone feel better, MILTB (mother-in-law-to-be) decided that we watch the Snoopy movie about the Great Pumpkin. A half hour of laughing our jitters off did the trick. Peanuts cartoons: the cure for everything. :)
