Folding laundry is: A. An activity looked forward to with great anticipation.
B. An activity done daily, so as to avoid growing your very own Mt Everest.
C. A and B are both true.
D. A is false and B should be true.
I'm gonna have to go with "D" Mr. Barker.
I like folding laundry in spurts. But, more often than not, said pile of laundry is so tall, I might as well be storing it in the cupboards above our washer and dryer (in our kitchen). This was certainly the case a few days ago.
Turns out, folding laundry to Gone With the Wind almost makes you forget the task at hand altogether! This has proven to be true while performing other chores such as: fridge cleaning/scouring, packing, etc. (By the way, chickens, we're moving! Hooray!)
For nearly four hours, I watched, waited and wished for Rhett Butler to turn around and tell Scarlett off beginning with, "Frankly my dear..." and walk away into the Georgia mist, leaving Scarlett with nothing but a broken heart and a twinge of guilt for treating Rhett so poorly.
Needless to say, this resulted in a much reduced folding, cleaning and packing speed.
But, that's ok, because, you know, "Tomorra' is anotha' day!"
